About Me
Priscilla Magnusen is a writer, Living Foods Instructor and Certified Holistic Health Counselor accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
She is a graduate of The Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City and holds a B.B.A. from James Madison University.
A true humanitarian, Priscilla is a non-traditional healer who prefers the path less traveled and doing things HER way (thank you very much!). She believes in feeling deeply, loving fiercely, and living life to the fullest – on her own terms. Often compelled to stick her hand in the fire, she finds it difficult to heed advice without testing it out first. Her strong beliefs in the “practical application of knowledge” and her personal and honest voice have inspired and empowered many people to make change in their lives.
Priscilla is driven to support the underdog and to help others who are less fortunate. She is passionate about human rights, animal rights, food safety, living a sustainable lifestyle, and protecting our environment. She currently resides in the DC area.
This blog is dedicated to 5 beautiful women who have brought forth many “Ah-Ha” moments. Also, to all survivors of trauma and tragedy, animal and human rights activists, conspiracy theorists, environmentalists, conservationists, teachers, healers, poets, artists, raw foodies, vegans, and anyone else who questions the system, or “the matrix”.
