Have you ever stopped to consider…“Where does all the stuff we buy come from, and where does it go when we throw it out?”
Annie Leonard has.
If you haven’t heard much about Annie Leonard yet, you will.
Her new book, The Story of Stuff, was released yesterday. I would suggest that everyone read this book.
Prior to purchasing the book, please watch her 20-minute film. It’s an eye-opening tour of the real costs of our consumer driven culture. You can watch it directly from the site! Click here and “watch now”: The Story of STUFF
This will be the best 20 minutes you’ve invested in awhile!

Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Although I am guilty of owning a lot of stuff. I always look at what I’m buying and who I’m buying it from. I want to make sure that what I’m buying is of high quality to cut down on replacement, that it is sustainably sourced/produced, and that I’m happy to support the company I’m buying from.
There are a lot of people that talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. The bottom line is that when you buy stuff you are making a statement with your dollars. If you want change in how stuff is sourced, created, and disposed of……..its time to pay up.
Thanks for sharing this video. It was great. I plan on sharing it with other people. We have to get the word out one person at a time.
